This is just a quick little missive informing everyone that this blog is not forgotten! There has been a lot going on in Mr. Hopeful's and my personal life that has had to come first these past few weeks. However, it has now calmed down significantly, and while there are going to be new and wonderful changes occurring this coming year, we've started getting into that routine. This month is still going to be somewhat hectic, but starting in December things will be in the new normal, and hopefully by January they will have calmed down significantly.
Some posts coming up for everyone to look forward to:
-I have been wanting to start doing the Sew Weekly challenges, and this past week is my first one! I'm planning to put the post up about the apron I'm making tomorrow.
-When I first blogged about wanting to sew again, I also wanted to include mending and home decoration projects in the mix of what I'm doing with making garments. I've completed my first round of mending, and just need to get pictures taken of the completed items to post up here.
-Part two of my list making post. That's been a really fun one to think and write about, and I hope it's helpful to any of you trying to figure out organizing your time. Time management is a huge struggle of mine.
-Goals with my sewing to keep myself challenged and continue learning new skill sets. I'm very excited about this one, and I'm trying to think about how to work everything in, and what kind of timeline to put myself on.
-Organizing my sewing room! Yeehaw!
-I decided for my next garment I'm making the Beignet by Colette. This is a UFO for me where the fabric is cut, notions are gathered, and everything's ready to sew. After the Peony I was pretty drained, and so I wanted to do a couple of easy projects to restore my sewing energy for the Anise.
Of course, there are many other things planned, but those are the posts I have almost finished for the near future. Now, I must run with my husband to Ikea! More on that later....
